A screenplay or script is a written work by screenwriters for a film or other things such as video games or a TV show. In screenplays, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. This allows for a structured film structure that perhaps has a clear structure and story behind it. However not every film, video game or TV show has to have a structured script behind it. The major components are action and dialogue. The "action" is written in the "present tense" The "dialogue" are the lines the characters speak.
However, our opening title sequence did not require any sort of script due to the fact nobody had any line in it. Our OTS simply consisted of movement and actions, which yes can be used within a script, however we decided to use a storyboard due to the fact actions and movement are easier to identify and follow with the use of pictures. This way, anybody reading can have an understanding of what will happen within the opening title sequence.
