Casting decisions and why

Picture
We found Tom Munoz was the best person to play the role of 'The Conductor' (the psycho killer). This was because Tom has the attributes to carry out this role as he is confident and was willing to partake in this role. Tom is tall and significantly bigger than the victim that he is viciously torturing and so this enabled a great way to show no remorse or mercy towards what he was doing. This gave a very thrilling experience and atmosphere for the audience as they were watching.
Picture
We decided Tom looked fairly similar to the very famous Zac Efron, which has been the star of many Hollywood films. We decided to use this comparison because similar to Tom, Zac has the fairly big physique that would be perfect to use in horror films as it would show strength and dominance over the smaller and more vulnerable victim. Although Zac hasn't participated in any horror film, we believe he has the correct attributes to be able to act in it very well.
Picture
We decided That Tom Barker was the person to allocate this role to. He fits the stereotypical blonde that normally tends to be murdered in some brutal way. Despite his hair colour, Tom is fairly small in comparison to the killer and so this also gave a good opportunity for us to use him as the small victim that we needed to torture and give the audience the shock they needed.
Picture
Freddie Highmore began his acting career with small roles on television at the age of 7. Perhaps one of his biggest and most well known film was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We believe Tom looks similar because they have the fairly same attributes, such as hair and face shape. This is the perfect role for the victim in any horror film due to the fact they are both fairly small which can add weakness and vulnerability which is a key factor needed to make a horror effective, alongside the more powerful killer.
