What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing your product?

USING new TECHNOLOGY

We used Final Cut 10 as our main format for editing. This is because its great to add effects and sound etc to any video you decide to make, this included our OTS. Once members of our team learned the basics on how to use it it became fairly easy to use. We learnt how to import sound, and other overlays that helped make our production company logo. We also used colour correction to make our killer look more demonic. We cut carefully to match our soundtrack using the blade tool.
Weebly was used by us to actually construct our website. This is because it allows you to change the format and layout of certain pages and allows for simple viewing. It also allows us to stick our interviews and other videos on here to access and view. We were also able to embed other technology such as Prezi to make our site look more interesting. It is also so easy to upload pictures and moving image from youtube.
To create our OTS we used a range of different types of technology/ equipment to help us create our final sequence. The list of different types of technology/equipment we used are as follows:

-Sony DSLR camera
-A sturdy tripod
- An Apple Mac
-Final Cut Pro

Below you will see a slideshow containing images of all of the equipment we used in order to gain the full effect for our OTS and interviews etc. On top of the images you see we also used a microphone. This is because a microphone was essential in order for the people speaking to be heard. Still, for our OTS we included a storyboard. This literally meant we could follow the easy steps in order to get the full effect of the OTS.
