Before we interviewed people to answer the questionnaire, we needed to write out a set of questions. We asked people the same questions in order to see if different people had similar answers. This would mean that the horror films that they watched were effective by scaring the audience.

we asked this question in order to get an idea of what type of film our target audience enjoyed. this is so that when we make our film we know what type of film we are looking to produce. This question is asking people what there favorite horror film is, this is so that we can get an idea of what our film could be like based off viewers opinions. for example if one of the people interviewed said that Friday the 13th was there favorite film then this would be a good indication to our group what horror film we need to make.

This question as asking people what age they were when they first started watching horror. we can use this information to see what age range our film needs to have for the target audience.

we asked people who there favorite villain is and why, this is because if we had an idea on who the most popular villains were for our target audience then we could make a similar villain, this is because we can then make a film which would be enjoyed by our target audience.

This question is similar to the previous one but it is slightly different as we are asking them which villain scares them the most, this is so if we wanted to make our opening scene intense and scary we can use this question to see which villain is scary and how we can adapt this villain to be our own.

Using this information we can base our horror film around it so that our horror film fits into the perfect category and so that the target audience will watch the film. If the film is what the audience are wanting then there will be a significant increase in views.
